DENNIS “ROBOCOP” ORCOLLO
Dennis Orcollo is a professional pool player and JFlowers ambassador from Bislig City, Philippines.
He started playing pool at a 8 years of age at his grandfather’s table. From that point on, he focused in the sport and started competing in money games and tournaments at a very young age.
Also known by his nickname “Robocop,” Orcollo is known for his exceptional ball control, safety play, and precise shot-making ability. He is also recognized for his calm demeanor and ability to perform under pressure. In addition to his success on the professional circuit, Orcollo is admired for his sportsmanship and humility. He continues to compete at the highest level and inspire young players worldwide.
Orcollo is considered one of the best players in the world, with numerous titles to his name. In 2010, Orcollo won the World Pool Masters and that following year, he became a world champion after winning the 2011 World Eight-Ball Championship. In 2013, Orcollo lifted the World Cup of Pool trophy along with fellow countryman Lee Van Corteza.
In Oklahoma City in 2020, Orcollo bested Shane Van Boening 120-119, to win the title of “Money Game King” in a three-day 9-ball match. He defeated Van Boening again the following year, this time winning 120-115. He also did the unthinkable by running 11 racks in a row, becoming one of two players who has done so (the other player to have done this feat is pool legend and Orcollo’s fellow JFlowers Ambassador Earl Strickland).
In 2022, Orcollo was inducted to the BCA Hall Of Fame, becoming the fourth Filipino player to be included.
