JEFF “THE BULL” DE LUNA
Jeffrey “The Bull” de Luna is a Filipino professional pool player and JFlowers ambassador based in Quezon City, Philippines.
His name blew up in 2007 after becoming viral at the 2007 World Pool Championships. He immediately made a name for himself during the tournament because of his powerful breaks, with one of them managing to pocket 6 out of the 9 balls. De Luna’s demonstration of power during the tournament gained millions of views on YouTube and has become a pool sensation ever since.
As a professional, de Luna was able to garner great finishes in major tournaments over the years. In 2007, he won the Manny Pacquiao International Nine-ball Open and the World Nine-ball Challenge. In 2019, de Luna reached the semi-finals of the 2019 U.S. Open Pool Championship.
De Luna also has a knack of being a great doubles team player. In 2014, he and Jeffrey Ignacio went on to win the Manny Pacquiao International Open doubles tournament. De Luna also reached the finals of the World Cup of Pool in 2019 along with his fellow countryman, Carlo Biado. In 2021, he and Roberto Gomez had a sensational comeback during the World Cup of Pool where they bested Team U.S.A’s Skyler Woodward and Billy Thorpe after being down 5-0.
The Bull is regarded as one of the best players in the world, and his style and personality also makes him a crowd favorite.
