About the JF‑BK1 Break Cue
Purpose‑built for the opening shot: the shaft leans stiffer with a slightly more conical profile than a playing shaft to waste less energy on impact. Coupled with a hard phenolic tip, the contact window stays short and efficient so you can focus on speed and a square hit.
Under the finish is purpleheart—a hardwood that’s notably denser and harder than maple. That extra mass and rigidity complement break mechanics, helping transfer momentum into the rack. Standard build is 58 inches and 19.5 oz.
Extras you’ll appreciate: All orders are fulfilled fast—from Jacksonville, Florida for North America and direct from the factory for international orders (typical transit: US ~4–5 days, International ~7–8 days).

Why Choose This Cue
You want a breaker that does the heavy lifting so your motion can stay smooth. JF‑BK1’s stiffer profile, phenolic contact, and purpleheart backbone give you speed off the head ball without feeling like you have to muscle the shot.

Popular FAQs
Q: Why phenolic on a break cue instead of leather?
A: Phenolic is extremely hard and efficient at passing energy, so you can generate cue‑ball speed with a compact, controlled stroke.
Q: What’s the advantage of a slightly conical break shaft?
A: Added stiffness. Less flex at impact keeps more of your swing speed headed into the rack instead of bending the shaft.
Q: Can I play racks with it, or keep it only for the break?
A: Not recommended, because the phenolic tip is optimized for power—not finesse and spin—so keep it as a dedicated break cue.

I’m very impressed by the quality of this break cue
Wonderful break cue, thing really gets good action on the ball with very minimal effort. With this cue no need to power it up to much and just let the cue do the work.
